How to make switch stage

1. Open your project. Then, Click Game Syncs tab and you will see Switches folder.

After that , right click on Default Work Unit in Switches folder. Create switch and rename that you want. The picture shows Random sound switches that I made.

2. Select Audio tab to import sound that you want. On Actor-Mixer Hierarchy Folder, right click and select New Child. Then, Select switch container and rename it. After rename it, right click the switch container and select import audio files...

3. Double click on switch container. You will see Switch section and below it you will se group select.

 

3.1. Click on arrow and select switch stage that you  have already created on the first picture.

3.2. Select default switch stage. When you did not pass the sound trigger box, it will play the default switch.

4. Assign audio to switch group.

 

4.1. On Wwise tab, select Layout and then select designer. So the program will show like this picture.

4.2. Double click on switch container that you have already created in picture 2.

​

4.3 On the right hand side, you will see Assigned objects. Drag the sounds on 4.2 into each switch.

5. Generate to Game Engine

5.1. On Project Explorer, select Events tab. Right click on Default Work Unit and select New Child then Play.

​

5.2 Double click on event. You will see target section, then right click below it and choose the audio file that you imported.

​

5.3. On SoundBank manager, Click new to create soundbank. Then, Drag the Event into soundbank and Click Generate selected.
